Patinated Arts & Crafts copper jardiniere "Hilton Ware" c.1910
Surprisingly modern looking copper jardinière of good size with riveted panels and the curved cut profiles used as decoration. Stamped to base "Hilton Ware" and a design number. It has been suggested that this could be Robert Hilton of the Keswick School of Industrial Art (KSIA) but this is not proven. Influences of American Prairie School in the minimalist details. A great object that belies its 100-year age!
