Modernforms was founded by Theo Mance, former Antiques buyer for the famous Liberty department store in London and currently a consultant to an auction house in the Cotswolds. Over thirty years of antiques dealing and vast luxury retail experience with brands including Roberto Cavalli, Etro & Swarovski has led to this point. Working experience in decorative arts museums as well as auction houses mean that we are in a strong position to acquire interesting stock for the site. Objects by famous (and not so famous) designers have always been our trade.

Items on the site are striking examples of design, chosen to fit into a contemporary home and to complement the modern "International style" of furniture and decorative homewares. Prices are aimed at all levels, with something for the collector, connoisseur and anyone interested in modern design.

We source both in the UK and abroad including the USA and Europe. Specialist areas of expertise include British design & craft of 1890-1930 & French artist's ceramics of the 1950's.
