Elegant and understated studio pottery stoneware dish executed at the Maraba pottery, Kaduna in Nigeria. This may be by Danlami Aliyu, one of Michael Cardew's greatest pupils, who cofounded the pottery with his brother in 1985. Really attractive colours and forms on this dish, which also has a very tactile quality.
