Very interesting Finnish plywood and birch veneer Modernist box with inscription on a silver plaque hallmarked for 1927. Finland was a major producer of plywood and plywood furniture, notably the firm of Artek (Aino and Alvar Aalto). The inscription is for the Suolahti Mill Company founded in 1918. A real historical curiosity.
